1. My 62 year old father is being treated for myeloma in India. He has been through four cycles of Velcade+Dexa from May-July last year to which he had a very good response..mspike went down from 3.3 to 1.1 and is now maintaining at 1.1 but his Igg levels are slowly going up from 1050 to 1270 through the last six months.He is currently on 100mg Thalidomide daily + monthly 4 days dexa. His next option is to undergo stem cell transplantation. How long do you suggest he can wait before he should go for this procedure? When is it technically termed a relapse?
Please note that in India there is no storage facility to store stem cells for more than a few weeks so he has to get this procedure done as soon as they harvest.

2.He is in US right now, I'm wondering where and how to get his monthly mspike test done?
