I have been told by 2 different doctors about drinking beer or wine. One says an occassional glass or 2 is ok and the other says avoid all alcohol. I am on Revlimid (25mg).
Any thoughts on this?

I asked my oncologist and family doctor if I could drink alcohol awhile after I was dx'd and placed on Rev/Dex. They both replied yes without any quatification of alcohol. I didn't, however, drink any for a year because I felt so lousy.
I had an auto PBSCT in Dec 07. My written materials in the transplant manual stated that moderate drinking was ok beginning 6 mos after SCT. They defined moderate drinking as no more than 2 bottles of beer or two glasses of wine per day. Hope this helps.
