Longtime TV Financial Host Louis Rukeyser Dies:

"Rukeyser's last appearance on his CNBC show was Oct. 31, 2003, after
which he went on medical leave for surgery to relieve persistent pain in
his back. In May 2004, he announced that doctors found a low-grade
malignancy during a follow-up exam."

NTx Testing:

NTx is a test for bone resorption. There has been some discussion recently as to whether it is either necessary or a good thing. MMers with bone involvement are almost always given a bisphosphonate like Aredia or Zometa. This test could be useful in gauging the amount of bisphosphonate a patient needs, instead of simply administering the same monthly dose. NTx testing is recommended annually.
