HEALTH TIP OF THE WEEK:
for those of you getting IV bisphosphonates like Aredia or Zometa, oral
hygiene is essential. Maintain the highest standard of dental hygiene
at all times,  and ensure your teeth are in good condition before you
start any treatment. Always brush at least twice daily with a good
quality toothbrush. Softer is better to avoid any gum damage - Braun
Oral B rechargable toothbrushes are recommended by dentists. Use floss,
or dental tape daily, or a WaterPik (careful not to damage the gums).
After brushing use a good quality mouthwash to keep the mouth clean and
sterile.
